Don has been creating illustrations for the National Park Service for over 20 years. Most of these have
been for wayside exhibits spread across the country (from the Dry Tortugas to Hawaii).
In addition to his illustration work for the National Park Service, Don also creates Tactile Displays for the park. Using his same proven skill-set in 3D work, Don uses his many 3D printers (10 at last count) to output his work. Then he combines the work with hand-worked clay models (if needed) to create final products. These can be 3D printed objects, resin objects (cast in his studio) or bronze (using one of the nations top bronze foundries, American Bronze Foundry, near Don’s studio).
